What can Applied Kinesiology add to current models for the treatment of Lower Back Pain?
Further Insights to illuminate the complexities of Lower back Pain.

Professional Applied Kinesiology, Lower Back Pain, biomedical model. Biopsychosocial model, the triad of health, muscle tests in the torso, the ilioinguinal nerve, the Transverse abdominal muscles, The Lateral internal oblique muscles.

We will be looking at the change in models of lower back pain from the purely biomedical model to the growth of the Biopsychosocial model and, taking the lower back as our field, we will look at the strengths and weaknesses of PAK to address this growing evidence for Lower Back Pain treatment.

Learning outcomes:

  • The Biopsychosocial model and the Triad of Health in PAK.
  • Advanced muscle tests to address the challenges of the torso and lower back pain.
  • PAK Filters to look through when addressing pain in the lower back and torso.
